The White Mountain Range Ride was founded in 1953 by a group of friends who wanted to get away from the rigors of business and professional life and spend a few "laid back" days in the high country of Arizona. Those principles guide the group today.

The group's mission is to preserve cowboy traditions by gathering yearly to ride through the White Mountain trails. We hold true to those values with horseback challenges, rifle competitions, and fierce poker matches. We also like drinkin' whiskey and tellin' cowboy lies.
